Though not located in the Napa Valley, The Kendall-Jackson Wine Center is a wine and food experience not to be missed. Set amid 120 acres of gardens and vines, guests are welcomed at their beautiful château for a variety of tasting, food pairing and Sonoma County winery tour offerings. Each season offers new educational and sensory experiences in their extensive gardens, demonstration vineyard and tasting room.

 

 

During your visit, select any or all of the following Wine Tasting Options:

 

Select four wines to taste from a seasonal menu of eight releases including limited production varietals from the Vintner's Reserve, Grand Reserve and Highland Estates wine tiers.

 

Enjoy four limited, exclusive releases from the Highland Estates series and Stature releases, when available.

Tour the Gardens 
Their culinary and sensory gardens are a constantly changing sensual delight. Complimentary tours are offered three times daily at 11am, 1pm and 3pm (weather permitting).

 

 

The Wine Center is open daily from 10am to 5pm and Garden Tours are offered daily at 11am, 1pm and 3pm (weather permitting). 
 

 

 

THE STORY
Born in 1930, Jess Jackson was raised in San Francisco and graduated from UC Berkeley's Boalt Law School. In 1974, Jess and his family bought an 80-acre pear and walnut orchard in Lakeport, California. After converting the orchard to a vineyard, Jess began selling his grapes to local wineries. In 1982, he produced his first bottle of wine under the Kendall-Jackson label. Jess, a founding member of Family Winemakers of California, his wife Barbara Banke, and his family still run the day-to-day business of the winery.

 

"When my family and I founded Kendall-Jackson in 1982, we simply wanted to create extraordinary wine from California's best vineyards," remembers Jess. "  In 1983 their Chardonnay won the first Platinum Award ever presented by the American Wine Competition. They grow grapes on some 14,000 acres of California Coastal vineyards, and continue to evolve their practices and increase the quality of their wines.
